Volvo V40 Bilstein B4 Rear Shock Absorber 19-249117

The Bilstein B4 rear shock absorber is a direct OE-quality replacement damper for the Volvo V40. If your P1-platform Volvo has started to feel floaty, crashes over bumps or wanders under braking, worn dampers are a common cause – the B4 restores factory ride, comfort and control.

• OE-quality replacement damper from Bilstein
• Gas-pressure design for consistent damping and less fade
• Direct fit – installs like the original, no modifications

Bilstein catalogue this part as the B4 OE Replacement shock absorber, part number 19-249117.

The B4 is engineered to match the damping characteristics of the original Volvo set-up, so the car rides and handles as the factory intended. Gas pressure helps prevent oil foaming, so damping stays consistent on long journeys, rough roads and when the car is loaded.

The B4 fits in place of the original part. Mounting: eye; top pin (stem). A wheel alignment check is recommended after any suspension work.

Ideal for Volvo V40 owners who want to restore original ride quality and safety with a trusted German brand, rather than fitting budget replacement dampers.
