Rear spats are a nice little addition to the car exterior especially if running side skirts as they follow the lines and give that sportier look.
Standard product is textured black plastic, NOT primer - it is ready for mounting.No need for any additional work, unless you want to paint it for a different colour. characterized with increased strength and flexibility.
