Volvo C30, C70, S40 & V50 Bilstein B8 Front Right Shock Absorber 35-110774

The Bilstein B8 front right shock absorber is the matched damper for a lowered Volvo C30, C70 II, S40 II & V50. If you have fitted lowering springs or sport springs, the B8 restores the correct spring preload and damper travel, giving sharper, more controlled handling without bottoming out or a crashy ride.

Bilstein catalogue this part as the B8 Performance Plus shock absorber (sometimes sold as B8 Sprint), part number 35-110774.

The B8 takes the damping of Bilstein's B6 sport shock and shortens it by approximately 20mm in extended length. Lowering springs are shorter than standard springs, so a standard-length damper can leave them under-preloaded and running out of travel. The shortened B8 lets the spring and damper work together, with damping tuned by Bilstein specifically for each vehicle.

The B8 fits in place of the original part. Mounting: suspension strut; top pin (stem). A wheel alignment check is recommended after any suspension work, particularly when lowering the car.

Ideal for Volvo C30, C70 II, S40 II & V50 owners running Eibach, H&R or other lowering springs who want a properly matched damper for fast road driving and the occasional track day.
