Refresh and strengthen the front suspension of your Volvo P3 with the Hardrace Uprated Front Lower Control Arms. Designed for selected Volvo S60, V60, V70 and S80 models, these complete replacement wishbones combine heavy-duty steel construction with Hardrace hardened-rubber bushes for improved steering precision, suspension control and durability.

The front lower control arms play a major role in locating the front wheels under braking, acceleration and cornering. As the original bushes wear and soften, additional movement can develop within the suspension, leading to vague steering response, inconsistent geometry and a less controlled front end.

Rather than pressing new bushes into ageing factory arms, the Hardrace kit replaces the complete left and right lower control arm assemblies. This makes it an excellent option for higher-mileage Volvos as well as fast-road and modified cars requiring a comprehensive front suspension refresh.

Hardrace manufactures the arms from hardened steel and uses uprated hardened-rubber bushes to reduce unwanted suspension movement while retaining the refinement expected from a road car. This provides a more direct and controlled feel without moving to very stiff polyurethane or solid spherical joints.

The arms also receive an ED treatment and painted finish to improve corrosion resistance and durability – particularly useful for vehicles driven year-round in UK road conditions. Hardrace describes the arms as an OE-style direct replacement equipped with premium-quality bushes.

These control arms are particularly well suited to Volvos running lowering springs, coilovers, uprated anti-roll bars, performance tyres or increased power, where keeping the front suspension geometry properly controlled becomes even more important.

Important: These arms do not fit vehicles equipped with the factory aluminium front wishbones and are not suitable for the Volvo XC70.
