Hardrace Volvo P3 25.4mm Rear Anti-Roll Bar – FWD

Reduce body roll and sharpen the chassis balance of your Volvo P3 with the Hardrace 25.4mm Rear Anti-Roll Bar. Developed for front-wheel-drive Volvo S60, V60, XC60, V70, XC70 and S80 models, this uprated rear anti-roll bar is an effective handling upgrade for fast-road and performance-focused builds.

The factory rear anti-roll bar is designed around everyday comfort and predictable handling. During harder cornering, however, body roll transfers load away from the inside tyres and can contribute to the understeer-biased feel found in many standard front-wheel-drive Volvos.

Increasing rear roll stiffness helps the car remain flatter through corners and allows the rear axle to contribute more effectively to overall chassis balance. The result is a more responsive car with sharper direction changes and a more composed feel when driven quickly.

Hardrace increases the rear bar diameter from the quoted 21mm factory specification to 25.4mm, providing a substantial increase in roll resistance without requiring changes to the springs or dampers.

The bar uses a lightweight hollow internal construction manufactured from high-strength steel, then heat treated to improve strength and durability. Centre locating rings help prevent unwanted lateral movement of the bar during hard cornering, while the protective finish provides additional resistance against corrosion.

Designed as a direct replacement for the original rear anti-roll bar, the Hardrace kit integrates with the factory suspension mounting points and is supplied as a complete 5-piece set.

This makes it an excellent upgrade for standard-height cars as well as Volvos fitted with lowering springs, coilovers, uprated dampers and performance tyres.

For the most balanced chassis setup, the rear anti-roll bar can also be combined with uprated or adjustable drop links and other Hardrace suspension components.

Important: This rear anti-roll bar is suitable for FWD models only. It is not suitable for AWD Volvo applications.
