Rear toe has a major influence on stability, turn-in response, tyre wear and how confidently the car tracks at speed. Once a Volvo has been lowered on springs or coilovers, the factory adjustment range may no longer be sufficient to achieve the desired alignment. Adjustable toe arms provide the additional range needed to bring the rear geometry back into specification or create a more performance-focused alignment setup.

Hardrace manufactures the arms from high-strength steel alloy, combining durability with a relatively lightweight design. The arms are also ED coated and painted to provide additional protection against corrosion – particularly valuable on cars driven throughout UK winters.

Unlike a conventional rubber-bushed replacement arm, these use pillow-ball joints to reduce unwanted compliance in the rear suspension. This provides a more direct connection between the wheel and chassis, helping deliver more precise feedback and consistent geometry during hard cornering. Hardrace supplies them as a 2-piece set, providing both rear toe arms required for the vehicle.
