AIRTEC Volvo C30 C70 S40 V50 Alloy Header Tank

Upgrade the ageing plastic coolant expansion tank in your Volvo P1 with the AIRTEC Motorsport Lightweight Alloy Header Tank. Designed as a direct replacement for the original Volvo tank, this premium aluminium upgrade combines improved durability with a much cleaner engine-bay appearance.

The original plastic header tanks fitted to C30, C70, S40 and V50 models can become discoloured and brittle with age. AIRTEC's alloy replacement provides a robust long-term alternative while retaining the factory mounting position and coolant hose layout.

Installation is straightforward, using the original mounting points with no drilling required. AIRTEC quotes an approximate fitting time of just 20–30 minutes, making this a simple engine-bay upgrade that does not require permanent modification to the vehicle. A new high-pressure header tank cap is also supplied.

The tank is available in a choice of finishes to suit anything from an OEM-plus Volvo build to a fully detailed show engine bay, including Natural Silver, Satin Black and Polished options. Cap options are also available to further customise the appearance.

Suitable for selected Volvo P1 models using the corresponding coolant tank arrangement, including 1.6D, 2.4i and T5 engines. The tank replaces Volvo OE reference 30776151.

Important Fitment Check: Before ordering, check your original coolant expansion tank has two hose ports on the front and one port on the rear.
