A Scorpion Sports Replacement Catalysts is designed to remove harmful gases like the original catalytic converter but is designed with a much greater open area inside the catalyst so as to restrict gas flow less.
A higher flow-rate and reduced back pressure will allow the engine to breathe more freely improving performance.
The more exhaust gasses you're getting out the more air the engine can breathe in.
